Dr. Shulman was the first dentist I saw after my family dentist of 15+ years retired. She is a genuine and knowledgeable professional and I recommend any dental patient in the North Hills to go to her.

Due to the brief period between my previous dentist retiring and finding Dr. Shulman, I had two cavities -- my first since I was a child with baby teeth. The procedure was quick and I couldn't help but note how deliberate she was to ensure my bite was perfect and not uncomfortable. Any patient whose had dental work done such as fillings can understand that some hasty dentists will drill, fill, and rush you out the door, and your bite feels "off" because the new fillings don't conform to the shape of your teeth. Dr. Shulman was deliberate and efficient in ensuring my comfort during and long after the procedure. I highly recommend her.

While visiting from Chicago, I had a dental emergency and called my regular dentist who found Dr. Shulman. It was 8:45pm when she offered to meet me at her office in 15 minutes. She is kind, generous, and proficient, and has a beautiful new office with an amazing collection of antique stained glass panels. If I lived in Pittsburgh, she'd be my dentist hands down!

Dr. Shulman made my transition back to the dentist office very comfortable, easy and welcoming. People who know me find that when I comment on anything, I did my research to find the best. Dr. Karen is an excellent dentist and one of the most caring, compassionate professionals I have ever met.
